You’ve got mail...
I’m the most disorganised person at the best of times, so as you can imagine I am forever misplacing my correspondence! It was when I spotted this letter rack at the car boot I knew instantly it would be a helpful addition.
I soon imagined up a simple transformation for it. A lick or two of my favourite duck egg blue and here we have a home for all my keepsake letters and mementoes...
I love receiving handwritten letters, quirky postcards and lovely mail, it really does amaze me how thoughtful people are.
And even better my new letter rack cost just 50p!
It's really cute, great idea for storing things. I would have never thought of painting it!
ReplyDeleteI have something like this for my letters that I made when I was about 10! I cut two cereal boxes in half and stuck them together then decorated it with blue card and collage daisy's!
ReplyDeleteIt still sits under my bed with letters from all my old pen pals :) xxx
I just got rid of my letter rack and this post makes me want it back!

ReplyDeletethat's so pretty. I love getting letters, it's just so much nicer! :) x
ReplyDeleteMuch better with the pretty new paint job. I do love a good letter rack. Sadly I don't own one and all my correspondence stuff is all higgledy-piggledy in jute bags and cupboards and drawers :(
ReplyDeleteso perfect! I have a wire letter rack but fancy hunting around for a wooden one to jazz up now!
ReplyDeleteso pretty, you've actually inspired me to do this now x
ReplyDeleteLove it! I need something like that. I've got so many bits of paper (from school, guides etc), something like that would be perfect. You are a genius!
ReplyDeleteGreat bargain and lovely choice of paint colour xx
