Fabulous Friends
And the second part is significantly the people you meet along the way and the friendships that you go onto form. And I strongly believe this is a huge part of the incentive to keep blogging. I think it is wonderful that we find it easy to be able to connect over shared interests and passions in life.
I wanted to take this post to say thank-you to everyone who gives me that courage to post about my life and my interests. And a special thank-you to these five wonderful people. I have been overwhelmed by their generosity and kindness♥
Jazmine sent me this little package just before she went on her holiday, and I kept meaning to post about it, but was saving it for a special mention. She knows my love for Beatrix Potter like no other and spotted this keepsake miniature collection at her local car boot, I didn’t even know this existed until it arrived on my doorstep.
And as usual it came in the most beautifully wrapped package, I almost felt I didn’t want to open it and ruin it. It was wrapped in an old music sheet and white lace ribbon, such perfection.
I was lucky enough to win a prize in Amy’s giveaway a couple of weeks back, and again I was truly overwhelmed when my package arrived. Such delicate packing and such beautiful goodies. She even included a little extra as well as a cute postcard I will go on to display on my heart shaped note hanger.
Nicola sent me this beautiful postcard earlier this week, I am a girl who will treasure something like this forever, I just love the idea of a box full of old letters and fond memories. The hummingbird bakery card is from my letter writing friend Gemma , who forever inspires me when it comes to correspondence.
And last but certainly not least, Sam recently contacted me and asked if there were any Jacqueline Wilson books I was missing, as she had recently stumbled across a huge collection at her local charity shop. I am of course a massive Wilson fan, and Sam knew this so instantly thought of me. It’s funny the one book I hadn’t been able to track down for years was Cookie, so was absolutely delighted when Sam said she had found it for me in the charity shop!
When my parcel arrived this morning, I was so overwhelmed by the beautiful packaging, and delicate wrapping. I am a girl who loves decoration and this parcel was completely after my own heart. She even included some of her homemade delights, which I have been admiring on her blog for a while now.
Thank-You
♥
