A girl and her birdcage...
And to be quite honest, it’s completely a want and not a need. But aren’t most things in life.
Oh goodness.
Look what I found. After what is possibly quite a long time, I have my very own birdcage...
It’s from Marks and Spencer and it’s meant for jewellery, and comes with delicate hooks inside. From time to time I may well find something beautiful to display inside it.
It was £25 before Christmas, but of course I waited until after and got it for £12 in the sale!
It's beautiful! I do love a birdcage and what a bargain, too. xxx
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful shabby-chic bargain!

ReplyDeleteoooh I didn't have a good look around my local M&S, that will be great to hang some jewellery on xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a blimming bargain! It's beautiful. I've always wanted a huge antique cage. I used to have 2 lovebirds and a canary and they were wonderful! x
ReplyDeleteThat is stunning, it'll be gorgeous with something displayed inside xx
ReplyDeleteIt's LOVELY! I've always wanted one too, but then I fall in love with gorgeous ones in antiques shops... and then see the prices.. ouch! This delight from M&S is definitely within my reach though! :D

ReplyDeletethats a lovely birdcage, it will look great with a few necklaces inside!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's beautiful! I love the idea of displaying something gorgeous inside, or just leaving it empty with the door open as if something just flew away...
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty, I managed to pick one up in TK Maxx for £4 last summer and hang all my jewellery on it xx
ReplyDeleteWow, that is beautiful! and its always so much more fun when you manage to bag something in the sale, even cheaper :) if I had a bigger house I'd love to fill it up with things like this. and a huge dressing table, and lots of vintage suitcases here and there. a girl can dream! xx
ReplyDeletethis is so pretty! i've wanted a bird cage for a while to fill with fairy lights and flowers but they're always a little pricey. i'll have to keep an eye out for this one! x
ReplyDeleteBargain! So pretty and so very you!
ReplyDeleteNot that I'm tempting you to spend more money or anything but they have very similar (well they're cream metal) decorative lanterns in the sale in the homeware section of Sainsbury at the moment... I can just see a couple either side of the birdcage with tealights flickering away.
I love it! So so pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt looks right at home in your room! xxx
the birdcage is lovely! great price too, well done for holding in and waiting for the sales :) hope you are okay! xx
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting till I have my own place and then I'll adorn it with birdcages, fairylights, and other generally pretty things ;)
