I much to the Mr’s horror fell straight into the path of Mr Frosty. When I say Mr Frosty I literally mean Mr Frosty the ice making machine from the 90s. I saw one of these at a car boot sometime last year but somehow resisted, well today was a different story.
If you don’t already think I’m barking mad, then you may well now. There is just something about this. It was THE thing I always wanted in the Argos catalogue. I remember my cousins having one, but I never had one of my own.
I won’t be using this, a little unhygienic, but I will be having him on display.
I love kitsch things like this, and guess how much he was?
I hopelessly fell for this picnic-esque type basket bag,
Jen from A Little Bird Told Me wonderfully inspired me. I haven’t stopped admiring her her recent thrifted bag, and I really couldn’t resist this version at 50p! It’s ideal for just carrying my essentials around in, purse, phone etc. And yes it reminds me of picnics, I just need some red gingham fabric now :)
I then found this pack of nostalgic postcards in a box for 10p. Self explanatory really.
Finally amongst much vinyl hunting on the Mr’s part. I stumbled across this London Calling single by the Clash. I couldn’t really leave this behind for 50p. I’m thinking of posting it to my brother. The Clash are one of his all time favourites.
So all in all a pleasant Sunday morning. This is becoming one of my favourite things to do on a Sunday :)
